She is so homely ya gotta let her win Lord
Phenomenal!!! Hope she wins and makes it bigtime, staying just the way she is!
Every finalist on Idol is given the benefit of a personal makeover to accentuate their appearance. Why not, she deserves the same benefit. Her voice and her beautiful personality/spirit will still shine through. I hope she goes on to win it all.
The first time I heard her sing she reminded me of any angel with her angelic voice, and the expression on Simon Cowell’s face when she opened her mouth to sing said it all. It’s interesting to note that people perhaps automatically assumed that because she looked the way she did that she would probably not be very good at singing. She fooled everybody. Ms. Susan Boyle has a wonderful personality and a very pure voice. Is she self taught or has she been trained? YOU GO GIRL!

So, all those people out there who can’t carry a tune in a dingdang bucket…did god have something to do with that too? You biblewhackers are trip and a half.
Thanks for the mental picture there. Not gonna be able to scrub that one from my brain anytime soon.
Beauty coming from in side and bright through personality ,Ms. Susan Boyle has it all !!!!!

To say I was stunned, like Pierce is putting it mildly…this lady is phenomenal..and so utterly herself and so true and probably all her life dreamed of singing like she did…and it is always and only the true and the simple who take our breath away..and the look on the faces of the 3 judges..she just took their breath away..like she did for millions of us..bravo miss susan and a million successess..i can’t wait to hear her again
Susan has a top 5 voice and likely will be a singing superstar soon. She never pursued what might have been a billion dollar career in the 30 years she waited. BUT she is living proof that there are some who can choose things more important than looks, fame and fortune, like caring for one’s sick parents, a simple life.
Folks who sacrifice for others know this, but apparently not the entertainment media, typically fixated with celebrating celebrities, youth and money. Hence the shock of discovering that they are so wrong. Shame on you in entertainment for your shallowness (if not cruelty.)
To “Hey Denise”
LMAO !!
To Jackson:
A trip and a half huh?
That would be up and back and then up again. I guess you’ll just stay here.
Susan has managed to replace “hey, she’s got a great personality” with “hey at least she’s got a great voice” literally overnight. Phenom.
Kim…I totally agree! I’ve found in this last week that I cannot retire for the night without my one-hour Susan Boyle fix! I love her rendition of “I Dreamed a Dream” and her “Cry Me a River.” She is absolutely magical!
For Ivor bigghun “THOSE WHO BRAG THE LOUDEST HAVE THE LEAST TO BRAG ABOUT!” You are pathetic!
