In a wide-ranging interview in London’s Times Online, Susan Boyle says, “I’m happy the way I am: short and plump,” and that while she might consider a “makeover later on,” “I would not go in for Botox or anything like that.”
The interview states that Boyle is a volunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Whitburn, Scotland, and visits elderly members of the congregation at their homes several times a week. She admits ruefully, however, what with all the sudden media attention — including a reported invitation this past Thursday to appear on Oprah — “I haven’t had a chance to see them this week.”
Boyle’s next song selection for Britain’s Got Talent this week will reportedly be the Andrew Lloyd Webber composition “Whistle Down The Wind.”

She is a quality person with extreme talent. Anyone who attacks her with their rudeness just shows how sad and lacking they are.
Contrary to what this post says, Susan won’t be singing in the competition again until the semifinals late in May.
“Whistle Down the Wind”?!! Really?! From that failed musical that couldn’t even stay on broadway for a month? It seems like an odd choice…

Anyone (and I mean ANYONE!) who makes fun of such a sweet, good hearted, and TALENTED person is either jealous or just plain mean!! I guess it shows what kind of upbringing they had!! mama2
she is great
hope she wins
never judge a book by its cover!!!!!!!!
Susan rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will buy all of her cds. God bless Susan Boyle.
Susan makes me want to listen to music again.
I don’t think she needs much of a makeover, although I would recommend shaping those eyebrows.
Ahhh, i have detested these american idole, britains got talent, etc. shows – honestly have avoided all contact with them. But I will follow Susan Boyle for as long as she sings. I cannot WAIT till I can buy her cd and listen to more songs…I have the only two out on replay and am starving for more!!!
Move over Barbra Streisand, Susan is pushing you out of bed!
My deepest for the lost of her mother. She has set out to keep the promise to her mother. The women don’t need to be on any show to prove herself. Producer Simon Cowell could put her in a studio today. Help her to showcase that angel voice of hers the right way if he want to do so. Ms Susan Boyle should just be herself. People all around world are starving to hear more from this women. Congratulations.
We are thrilled and inspired by Susan Boyle and her voice. She is truly what beauty is all about; both inside and out. What a voice; like what we would think comes from angels, You have given us hope and wonderment, Ms. Boyle, and all the world loves you and what you stand for. You are very special and we are very excited and happy for you. At the samne time we are happy for all of us around the world because we, undoubtedly, will get to hear you continue to sing forever. Much love, Dick and Dorinda in Tampa, Florida

Lets get together and make sure that the media don’t try and mould Susan into something that we see EVERYDAY!! in our mags and media. You can just see the production teams rallying around in the best way they can make money from Susan…and lets face it …with Jade (R.I.P) gone…the media are on the search..
So lets make sure we make enough fuss that we LIKE her JUST THE WAY SHE IS!!!!!
Join this and if we get enough members if I have to I will personally attempt to take this to SIMON COWEL LOL

I think that not only is Susan gifted, she is truly beautiful. She has been blessed. and I hope that she doesn’t change. I hope that the media doesn’t push her over the edge and she becomes another fake person. Stay true to yourself, Susan!
I love it. No sterotype here. The women has true humility. Which is hard to come by now a days. Shes has a beautiful heart and soul. Can’t wait to hear her again. 20mill. hits on U-Tube. Wow.
Simon is getting reading to contract her already. Cha Ching, Cha Ching only for Simon. Theres someone else who wants to contract with her
Susan te felicito.Tienes una prescencia escénica increíble. Tienes un talento que solo Dios lo da a quien El quiere. Exito en esta competencia y que Dios te bendiga.

from Ivor Bigghun–extremely rude and inapropriate.
To all of the people “abhorred” about a makeover…. There’s nothing wrong with some new clothes, hairstyle, eyebrow waxing, and a wee bit of make-up…. CHILL…. It’s not like plastic surgery, ya know !!… If she decides to tone-up later, great, if not, great too…. Don’t be so dramatical… hehe…. Dennis…
People call us from southern CA superficial, but I have to say I HOPE SHE STAYS THE SAME. I’m sure its mostly other parts of the country that are thinking she needs ANY “help” in the realm of her appearance. LEAVE HER ALONE! lol if you want to be plasticized do it to yourself. and dont say thats not what you are talking about, because you are
She reminds me of Kate Winslets character in the Reader, except Susan is way more attractive – http://www.bbwdatingfriends.com
Well I think she was just wonderful, every time I hear her sing the back of my neck goes all goose bumpy, I’d like to say – Susan Boyle you do what you feel is right for you, use your own judgement.
With all the hardships, heartaches and depressions going on over the economy, God allowed us to hear the voice of an Angel to lift up our spirits. How can you not love her – just the way she is.
