I always enjoy the few CSI episodes every season that feature the supporting players, the “lab rats” — in this week’s case, Wallace Langham’s Hodges Read the full post.

Loved Wendy and Hodges! It’s about time they got some screen time. Liza Well was definitely a big plus. The only thing that could have made this episode better was more of Catherine. She’s barely been in anything since Gris left.
I too can’t find much to enjoy in CSI these days. I never liked Grissom hooking it up with Sarah, and hated it when he left LA to be with her. But out of the newer episodes, this one was a blast to watch, if only for all the allusions to great Sci-Fi shows. It was nice to see secondary characters in a different light as well.
It was humorous, but VERY stereotypical and over-the-top.
I haven’t enjoyed the show much since Grissom left, but I found last night’s show to be fun. Criticizing it for being “over the top” is kind of funny, since that seemed to be the point of the writing.
On a side note, I actually overheard a guy in a restaurant the other night say, “Well, I thought he was a smart guy, but he actually watches “Battlestar Galactica.” As a die-hard SciFi fan, I thought that comment was hysterical. If we SciFi “geeks” aren’t smart, who is?!
Yay for the Grace Park cameo!. I thought the episode was funny, very playful and cute. Ronald D. Moore’s cameo was also funny as well.
Tory, President Laura’s assistant, is in the crowd in one of the videocam segments.
I have watched every episode on a weekly basis since the 4th episode of season 1. While I can appreciate that they have tried to become creative since Grissom left, the show has lost much of what I have always loved about it. I have decided this will be my last season as I cannot bring myself to continue watching sub-par episodes. This reminds me of the post Mulder X-Files which were terrible compared to the series in its prime. There is something to be said about a series such as Seinfeld that goes out in its prime. CSI should have ended last year as far as I am concerned.
I’m surprised at all the people who think the show now sucks and that Laurence Fishburne can’t act. I’ve always thought Fishburne was talented, and his portrayal of Dr. Raymond Langston is no exception. While I enjoyed William Petersen’s Gil Grissom, I think the rest of the cast is also very talented and that it works well as an ensemble show.
