I really hope Chuck sticks around…
If NBC decides to dumb Chuck I sincerely hope it gets picked up by a different network. Its a great show… I don’t know why people would rather watch nonsense reality tv while they could watch awesome shows like Chuck.
This show is going to get cancelled and the piece of absolute crap that follows it week in and week out (come on “Heroes” how many times are you going to redefine your origins and call yourself a great show?) is going to be back showing again why NBC is constantly the least watched major network. Its absolute faith in crap and inability to identify “Chuck” as a show that must be back next year is known only to the imbecile who programs NBC. Here’s hoping that the “Jay Leno” project sinks your ship. How about another half hour of the stupid Amy Pohler show as well…..that show was great;)
Sorry, my husband and I gave up on Chuck a few weeks ago, It just didn’t seem like it was going anywhere.
I agree with Matthew. It’s just a tough time slot. I watch House and record Chuck and Big Bang/HIMYM. Another night might work better, say Tuesday. I do hope it’s renewed – it’s one of my few don’t-miss shows.
Chuck is a great show and I would love for it tobe back but with the new nbc policy i’m kinda of wary.
Thank you for drawing some attention to Chuck! I was just wondering the other day why EW pays so much attention to shows like Gossip Girl (which has less than half the viewers that Chuck gets every week) and ignores this great show. It is certainly one of the best shows on TV and it deserves to be renewed.
Chuck is a fun show, but I guess like the Joss Whedon fans can tell everyone, shows with a fun mix of comedy, action, romance and drama that are a little less-than-reality based just don’t seem to get the ratings they deserve. Chuck is far better than 80% of the shows on TV right now.
We LOVE Chuck, look forward to it every Monday (we DVR House and are weeks behind, but would never get behind on Chuck), and think the theme music is the best on TV. SAVE IT. It makes us happy!
First time posting. My husband and I absolutely *love* Chuck. This show has an effortless charm and I genuinely look forward to each new episode (not to mention the return of Jeffster!, whose first appearance was comic genius). Love the writing, cast, and everything about it. Like so many others, I cannot fathom why this show wouldn’t get higher ratings.
Chuck is an awesome show and should definitely be kept. People keep pointing out that it’s in a terrible time slot, but all of the time slots are terrible for NBC given how poorly they tend to perform against the other networks. But the answer isn’t to hope that some new crappy show they come up with will be better, or to think that two hours of the Biggest Loser before Leno will make for good TV. They should show reruns in the summer to allow people to find the show and then they should market the heck out of it for the fall – constant advertising got Southland decent ratings, the same could work for Chuck, especially since the show has hit its groove now.
I just started watching Chuck a month ago, and I love it! I really hope it gets renewed…
I’d watch it on TV, but HIMYM is on at the same time, I always watch it the next day on Hulu.
Yes keep it…. solid show…. a good mix of humor, action, hot girls and a pretty good storyline/backstory. Like others have said…. better than most that is out there.
CHUCK rocks….never miss it. Always, always entertaining and just gets funnier every week. SAVE CHUCK!!!!!
Chuck definetely needs to be saved. It is a smart, funny, quick-witted show and highly entertaining on top of everything. I don’t remember such a cool show in the last few years… And Chuck is BY FAR much more interesting than Josh Schwartz’s other show…
Chuck was awesome last night (and in general). It is such a good show. That episode just set up all kinds of epic for next week!
