I very heartily agree with everyone about how good last night’s episode was and NBC should not cancel one of the few quality shows it has. The characters are well rounded and not disposable as they are on the Law and Order, CSI, or other shows where the formula is the emphasis. As others have said, there isn’t anything else to watch on Wednesdays that isn’t more of the same.
The look Dani gave Charlie when she saw he wasn’t with Roman and his ilk anymore at the end was great. It reminded me that the whole time she was missing, she kept insisting/believing that Charlie would find her, not the captain with whom she is in a relationship. That was great and made me want to see more of Charlie and Dani together. I just hoped we are not robbed of that as it would create some interesting situations.
It was awesome! They really need to renew this show–it’s very smart and so entertaining.

Life is great. Damien Lewis has been the Sh!t since Band of Brothers. The character of Crews is just the right mix of quirkiness balanced with a mean streak you don’t want to get in front of. I love it when Crews stops being professional. Save this show.

I’m heartbroken to hear that this is the last of this show. The characters are all so wonderful. Thinking back to some of the dramatic scenes last night make me cry . . . and I’m crying that they’re taking the show away from us!

I too love this show and all of it’s characters. Sorry Leno (and all reality shows), but I’d much rather watch quality shows like Life and interesting shows like Medium, and fun shows like Chuck.

I agree that Life would be a nice programming fit for USA. If they move it away from Wednesday nights, a healthy chunk of the audience would follow the show there. Plus at the NBCU level, it keeps the vertical integration intact. All about making the content and distribution chain financially appealing to TPTB!
I sure hope this was not the last episode – last night and the entire season have been a real joy to watch. Not the usual police show – this one actually requires some thinking, which is maybe why it hasn’t done so well in the ratings! Brilliant writing and acting.

I came late to this show, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! It deserves better than NBC has given it. Much as I have loved L&O/SVU, it has become stale – let Chris & Mariska go after 11 years and give LIFE life. Damien Lewis – best actor on TV at the moment. Amazing episode. Please keep this show, powers that be!!!!
