I would love to see a spin off with Alexis Bledel, She was great.

I got to hand it to Alexis, she really did kick ass tonight. Count me in if they decide to spin her off to her own show, she earned it.

It was a decent end for a show that should have ended years ago. As for Alexis Bledel, i was never a fan of hers but she really knocked it out of the park tonight and made me take notice of how great she really is. Bravo to her for such a wonderful performance.

I’m a little relieved, sad, and bitter after the finale. Even though Neela, Brenner, Morris, and Banfield had closure in episodes before, I wish they were given more to do!
I thought the minor characters were given more of a last hurrah than some of the series regulars. Lots of intern and nurse interactions. Oh, and I could’ve sworn Daria was suppose to be in this one, but they just casted a Shiri Appleby lookalike.
Glad that some returning cast members came back, although I’m wondering why they couldn’t bring back Abby and Kovac.
And what’s up with the incredibly bleak-looking future for Kem and Carter?
And dammit, I hated it when Sam and Tony held hands! It felt like closure, but not really since those rumblings about an ER spin-off with John Stamos keep arising.

Halle Hirsch plays Rachel, not Yvonne Zima. Not since season 6.

Love the show, loved the characters and Alexis Bledel made me a fan of hers for life. I would love to see a spin off with her in it as well.

  • Sue

It was Yvonne Zima reprising her role tonight if you were paying attention Alex. No matter who played Rachel in the interim, Yvonne returned for the final episode.

I enjoyed the last show of the series and got the feeling of things coming full circle. I agree with everybody that Alexis Bledel was great she does deserve her own spin-off, she was that good.

Outside the good performance of Noah Wyle and Alexis Bledel( Who does deserve her own spin off) the show just felt flat. Not much going on and way too melodramatic for its own good.

i went tv-less several years & er in syndication got me addicted again…lost interest awhile back tho tried to catch up with that really flat last season opener with mikhi phifer’s body on the way out with everyone in emotional comas – so sat the rest of the season out till now…was good nostalgia to catch the finale & just bought the 1st season dvd; especially liked drs benton & corday still throwing sparks & actually warmed up to some new characters enough i would like to follow their stories a bit longer

No…it was Hallee Hirsh on the show in the finale, not Yvonne Zima.

  • Tasha

Nope, Sue. Alex is right. Rachel was played by Hallee Hirsh in the finale. Just looked it up.

I found it a bit boring in parts but overall, it was a good sent off and i really liked Alexis Bledel. If a spin off is in the cards, she’s the one who should get it. She was hands down the best thing about the final episode.

  • Liz

Why wasn’t Shiri Appleby in these episodes???

  • Clint

Not the best ending to a show (“Cheers” still owns that one for me) but not the worst ( “The Sopranos”) but good none the less. I’m going to miss the show but it was time to end it. I would however love to see a spin off with Alexis Bledel in it, She was fantastic.
