On Jon & Kate plus eight, Kate complains about “everything”. She thinks she is the only one in the world that has gone through a divorce, poor Kate. She acts like such so perfect and Jon has done everything wrong. If it wasn’t for her Jon wouldn’t have left in the first place. Who wants to be criticized every time they turn around. The children loved those dogs and I’ve seen through the grapevine Kate got rid of them too. Kate has hated those dogs from day one and so afraid they were going to make a mess. The children loved those animals but obviously she didn’t think about the children when she got rid of them. Kate always has to come first. You tell me what family cannot survive off of ten million dollars and look at their beautiful home. You name it they have it, swimming pool included not to mention the kitchen she had was nothing but beautiful. Not for Kate, she had to redue the whole kitchen, probably for free like she has got every thing else. Kate doesn’t appreciate anything. How many families have a nanny and how many families go on the fantastic vacations they have gone on. Kate should be counting her blessings but from the sounds of it that woman does not appreciate one thing. Yes, I feel sorry for the children. Bless their little hearts and I wish the best for those children. The parents better start wising up and getting their priorities straight before it is to late. Those kids are not as ignorant as their parents think they are. The parents are thinking of only themselves, come on Jon and Kate wise up will you. Wake up and see what you do have right in front of you that need you as a parent.
I just watched “Table for 12″ with my children…the joy in Betty’s eyes as she watched her children perform was priceless. Betty shows genuine love and tenderness. Eric took the 9 children camping and he did all with a smile. They had a wonderful time as Betty stayed inside with her daughter Rebecca. I still remember the episode of “Jon and Kate plus 8″ as they went bedroom furniture shopping…poor Collin.I did not feel comfortable watching “Jon and Kate” with my children. Jon and Kate were constantly fight…Kate was disrespectful to her husband and others. I don’t want my children watching or learning from a women like her. The Hayes children are kind and happy children.
“Table for 12″ puts “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ to shame. Jon & Kate could take some parenting advice from the Hayes family who has one more set of twins that the Gosselins, plus one of their sextuplets has cerebral palsey. All the Gossleins sextuplets are in perfect health, a fact that I am repulsed that Kate never claims to be grateful for! Plus their kids are not constantly whining and crying and Eric & Betty Hayes seems to have a loving marriage and treat each other with respect!!! I think Jon & Kate (and all 8 of their offspring) could learn a lot from this family.
AND the Hayes father still works outside the home, as a police officer! Anyone who knows anyone in law enforcement knows what kind of crazy schedule he must have. Meanwhile, Jon Gosselin’s rugrats earned him enough money for him to quit his job….poor Jon! Life is rough!
What is up w/this new family now?! Was it not bad enough when we watched Jon & Kate’s marriage spontaneously combust on account of their newfound fame and selfishness? Now, we have to focus on a family that used fertility treatments when they already had 4 beautiful, healthy children!?!? RIDICULOUS. These people have NO shame.
Seriously, how are you all on here praising the Hayes for being so calm and patient. Excuse me, but it was their decision to use fertility so many times and this is the consequences of that decision. They deserve no credit for handling it well. They are doing what they should be doing… Taking care of the numerous lives they created. Apparently, four kids wasn’t enough. So, they got 10. That’s the way it works with fertility treatments sometimes. We need to stop praising these people and get a grip on reality and rationality.
I really appreciated the unselfishness of Table for 12. They are a real family living there life the way normal people do. I hope that they do not get caught up in the trips like Jon and Kate plus 8 did. I am a mother of 6. I had 4 single births and 1 that resulted in twins. My husband works and I do childcare out of our home. To see a reality tv show that has the dad working and the family living a normal life is exciting and a good break from all of the drama that Jon and Kate plus 8 brought.

As far as I’m concerned, Kate Gosselin is a snob. She came from trailer trash and she saw this opportunity to be a celebrity and loved the limelight. Who the hell wears heels to a dude ranch and a skirt to ride a hot air balloon. She is all about her new thinness and her hair is stupid. Stripes? She has ruined whatever the show could have been and I wish her luck getting another man, everyone has seen how she feels about men. She even gags when she talks about her own little boys…being dirty and gross. Who does that about their own children?? She always makes cracks whenever Jon talks, makes him feel stupid. I’ve got a hint for you Kate, umm, Jon’s not the stupid one. OK, my rant is done. I’m looking forward to Table for 12. Now that’s a real family. Coming from a family of 9, they are true to what real big family life is all about.

I love table for 12. I would like to see more of their show. The kids…actually act like kids should, they get dirty, roll around, and have fun like kids should. They are very loving to each other, and little Rebbecca. And they are CUTE. I would really like to see them get paid like Jon, and Kate did. Now these are “REAL” people. I like to see a few dishes in the sink, and a lived in house…like mine lol.Kate felt the show was taken from her, and the kids. Finally TLC listened to us nobodies.

Well said, keep asking for the Gossellins demise, they are still hanging around. I nwould really like to see more of the Hayes family but perhaps they have decided that all the fame is too much, I hope not and I hope that WE, the viewing publice remember that and give them the respect and privacy they deserve.
I. Love table for twelve I started watching Jon and kat
in the third season. I was able to tell tht they didn’t respect each other. Kate could not handle the kids !! Table for twelve is more fascinating because evryones calm and relaxed.
I miss Jon and Kate plus 8!!! I HATE Table for 12! It is so boring! The mom is so fat all she does is waddle around or sit at the table. The should film her going to Weight Watchers meetings. As for those Hayes children, ANNOYING! They aren’t even a little cute either. The two older boys and the one older fat girl are super annoying. I can’t watch this family of dorks. TLC please bring back the cute Gosselin kids!!!!!!
Khloe really!! How mean you sound. This family, the Hayes, are not boring and we are all different shapes and sizes. I think the problem for you seems to be that there is so much genuine love and affection between all the kids and the Mum and Dad that you can’t bear it. You would it appears prefer to have the Gossellins where as far as I can see there has NEVER been any love except on the Mum’s terms. I have watched a few of the Gossellins but I find them sad, unpleasant and boring. Think about it, do you want joy in your life or hate and drama because that is all Kate and her children seem to be able to be. I do feel sorry for the kids, they are a product of their environment, poor things. They have no extended family because of Mum and now their having to deal with divorce and all that it entails. Think again !!!!
To Khloe—what are you 10 years old? “The mom is so fat.” Well maybe someone will give her a tummy tuck like Kate, you would probably be kinda big after 10 kids too. And you just called a 10 year old girl fat, seriously grow up. If you don’t like the show, then you don’t like the show but you don’t have to disrespect people in the process. I enjoy both Jon and Kate and Table for 12. Do I agree with the use of fertility treatments over and over, NO but that’s just me. If Jon and Kate could financially handle 8 kids (which obviously they couldn’t) then it would be okay. When Table for 12 first aired the youngest kids were like 3/4 years old, so apparently the Hayes family could financially support 10 kids without the help of reality shows invading their privacy. That’s just my 2 cents
Are they still making Table for 12? Here in Oz we have only had repeats, which is fine, they are such a lovely family to watch. I have a disabled daughter and I can’t tell you the number if times I relate to how those lovely parents feel, the Dentist being the latest. It is so so hard believe me and yet they manage, but it hurts. I would u nderstand if the parents had decided enough is enough or maybe the older kids have had it, but it would be nice to catch up with them all and see how they are getting along. There is so much love there and it is real.
