I love Tracy Morgan on 30 Rock, used to laugh at his "Brian Fellows" sketches when he was an SNL regular, but, boy, that was Read the full post.

Kim – yeah I noticed Keenan mouthing Chris’ lines like they were in a kindergarten play. Or as if Tracy had been messing them up in rehearsals…

I meant Tracy’s lines! Excuse me!

I could not disagree with you more Ken. I thought Tracy’s turn as a host was great–not excellent–but great. Brian Fellows is always funny but never roll on the floor hilarious and I thought him bringing that character back as the first sketch was great. His monologue was hilarious as well. You also forgot to mention the Dateline sketch which I thought was hilarious–Bill Hader brings on an amazing impression and for the first time they had a character responding to him just as creepy as he was. The show made me laugh consistently the whole way through and I think Tracy did a great job

It was a fair episode only . i enjoyed watching the guys cracking each other up, and liked Brian Fellows.

I totally agree with the review. It was the worst show of the season, and possibly the worst show in the history of SNL.

It wasn’t as bad as everyone was saying. The View was VERY funny and I liked his monologue. Last weeks with Dwayne Johnson was fantastic I thought

An SNL recap of a mediocre episode and still you guys haven’t post a recap of one of the best episodes of 30 Rock?
    For shame.

Gotta be honest with ya Kenny. Not totally agreeing with you. While the Brian Fellows sketch wasn’t as good as his older ones, I still thought that the show was pretty funny overall.
The View one was only okay, but I loved the Double Mac skits and thought they were hilarious. I liked Astronaut Jones but am now wondering where the hell was Woodrow the loveable singing hobo? I don’t know about you, but I liked the Rocket Dog skit.
Overall Tracy was good and the show was pretty funny. A lot funnier than some of SNL’s recent episodes. (How can the Steve Martin one and the Alec Baldwin one fail?) Anyway good show.
By the way, how fat was Kelly Clarkson?! What was the deal with that?!

I’m surprised no one has commented on Rocket Dog. Even though it was in the 12:50 death slot, I thought it was the funniest sketch of the night.

Tracy Morgan wasn’t that funny last night because he was sober all the way through. He’s hilarious when he is allowed to let loose and do anything, not when he has to memorize lines and beats. Last night was the proof. STill love him on ’30 Rock’ though.

While I missed the opening sketch, I ended up turning it off after Big Love. Overall, a terrible episode. I was disappointed after last week’s with Dwayne Martin was so funny.

  • Snsetblaze

And it was very obvious that Tracy was reading cue cards 100% of the time.

  • Amy

as a huge big love fan, kristin wiig’s Jeanne Tripplehorn impression was insanely awesome and on point.

    To MrFord.
You stated: “By the way, how fat was Kelly Clarkson?! What was the deal with that?!”
Really? That’s what you’re focusing on? Not her voice? But regarding her weight, that’s fat to you? She’s just your average girl with a highly above average voice.

the scared straight sketch was the funniest. i thought it was one of the best episodes of the season.
