Nitpicking at small details in a show is not only annoying, but stupid. How could you possibly know these things are impossible? Perhaps the situations are just that way? Not to mention, if anyone thinks the local police would be called when ‘management’ is involved, needs to get their brains checked. I’m thinking management can stop any dispatching of local police anytime they want to.
Great finale.

Mr. Westin’s father is still alive, and is almost assuredly the one who fibbed his file and had him burned. Or at least, that’s my bet. Look for the hints, they’re out there. Either that, or i’m just really good at convincing my friends.

My only complaint was that it wasn’t a 2hour finally like the first season. Other than that, I loved every bit of it.

My updated comment after watching the DVDs of the first season, again and again, is that this is quite a show. I understand the next DVD is due out in June 2009 and I have it on order.
Concerning the height of Michael’s fall, approximately a 2 second fall would be 64 feet, d=1/2gt^2 and g=32.174 ft/sec^2 for those interested. My recorder shut off in the middle of the fall from the helicopter so I do not have a valid fall time, again this is close enough for gov work.
Fi’s facial expressions are truly unique and outstanding communicating quite alot.

I think It was amazing. I was wondering what high was the helicopter, I did a simple trick on photoshop trying to guess and I got about 27.1 mtrs someone has any idea?

The season finale is probably the best episode of any show I can remember.
Scott – Heavily armed men? They had pistols. And yes, they can, when it has been obvious the entire run of the show that the “Management” has connections to federal agencies. My guess is that they would clear the way for their agents to be able to surround a parking garage without any problems(No beat cop is going to stop a federal agent and try asking questions).
I swear, it seems as if alot of people watch one episode and then comment about the show. If all of you watched every episode, you would know all of the back story. Or if you payed attention to the season finale, as Michael addressed this when they went to get Victor’s documents from the safe house.
This is one of the best shows on tv, and I loved the change in music in the last episode. It just made everything seem more dangerous and dire. Tim Matheson better direct more episodes!

What about Sam’s comment to Fi after she shot Carla, “I know you want to savour the moment but we gotta move” comment. Outstanding.
But I have to say, Madeline being the one that burned Michael, that is way out of the box and absurd and not credible.
Now if they make Madeline into some type of spy in the future, I will probably stop watching as this is preposterous (?sp)
I just had to make these comments but also, Michael jumping out of the chopper, classic and true to form and character. And mgmt, yes true to form. I only have 40 years in a related, but not so exciting career.
I will purchase any and all DVD’s of Burn Notice. I just myself got burned at work.
I would also like to say that the mostly clean and professional language is different from the first few episodes and this cleaner approach adds to the show quite a bit. Why muddle it with expletives and GD’s which are not appropriate.

How Long do we have to wait till the new season?
I was a little disappointed with the end. I do agree that Micheal should have devised a plan to save Victor. He was the same as Mike. I guess we will see what happens to Mike without the “help” of the agency Carla was working for.

Let’s do a list: Things We Learned About Miami from “Burn Notice”! I’ll start:
1. Miami has two police officers on the street.
2. Those two police officers are easily distracted by one attractive woman in skimpy clothing (apparently there’s only one of those too.)
3. Explosions are NEVER investigated.
