Jimmy Fallon, night 2: Tina Fey to the rescue!

Jimmy Fallon’s second night featured an opening monologue so half-hearted (cold-weather/economy topical joke: "It’s brutal out there; the Dow is 30 below zero"), it looked Read the full post.

A few nights ago, I happened to be flipping through the channels and caught Jimmy’s skit of his crew walking in and watching Ms. Boyle singing!… Oh my gosh!… It was the hardest I’d laughed in such a long time! THANK YOU, JIMMY!… (I’m trying to find it on line to email to friends!) I believe Jimmy’s skits can be so hiarious~ that they make up for any of his short-comings as a talk show host!… JIMMY, PLEASE LISTEN UP!… YOUR HILARIOUS SKITS WILL PUT YOU ON TOP AND MAKE YOU #1. TRUST ME ON THIS!… MORE SKITS!… MORE SKITS!… MORE SKITS!… IT’S THE THING YOU DO THE BEST!…

Why does Jimmy Fallon and NOW jay Leno along with there guest must wear brown clothes every night. Also Fallon stinks. Thank goodness for Craig Ferguson.

Unlike Johnny Carson and David Letterman, Jimmy Falon shares one major flaw with Jay Leno, they both make it obvious they are reading word for word from the cue cards.
The trick is to only REFER to the cue cards where you dont stare at them during them during the monologue. Look at the audience members and only occasionally glance at the cue cards. They are for reference only!

  • JIMMY FALLON IS NOT A GOOD TALK SHOW HOST

Listen, I have tried to watch this awful show numerous times – he brings nothing to the table except that NBC has stacked the deck with guests…that are usually uncomfortable. I almost died when Steveie Nicks refered to Fallon as the new Carson?!?! She must be on heavy meds – and I am a fan of hers, btw. His timing is brutal and quite frankly, you can;t learn to be funny. He can do an impression or two…but that is just not enough. If I was Jimmy Fallon, I would watch the shows in a row and see if he could handle it – it’s like torture…PLEASE QUIT and NBC, Please find a replacement!!

i agree he does not belong on late night.i have a hard time watching him.one can hear the audience react, or should i say lack of reaction.its like watching a train wreck.

I tried to watch Jimmy Fallon, but had to keep switching because it was so painful and uncomfortable to watch. The man is NOT funny. Craig Ferguson isn’t perfect either, but he is comfortable in his own skin, and able to relate to people. My hope is that Fallon fails, Conan stumbles in the ratings and Leno kills…so much so that all the NBC execs who made these STUPID decisions, get fired and the schedule goes back to the way it was before. When are they going to realize..WHEN IT AINT BROKE, DON’T FIX IT!!!
