I was away for the weekend and just now got to see it and I still can’t believe we will never again have Late Night with Conan O’Brien ever again. I got to see the man live in 2006 and vowed I would return to 30 Rock to see him again…but now I can’t. Sad day, I can’t stand California so I doubt I’ll go see a Tonight Show taping.
Also, is Leno gonna keep doing new shows until Conan takes over? If he does, does anyone else realize the late night lineup will be Leno, Fallon, Carson until June? I think ratings will suffer heavily and prove just how much NBC and the Tonight Show need Conan.
    Good luck Conando!
Same to Fallon, I’ve always liked him and I hope he can find some success.

I’m very interested to see Conan’s “take” on L.A. and how he handles doing Conan-like things. For instance, if he were to come outside during the show he will be in a theme park/movie studio with nothing but tourists, rather than streets of NYC.
I’m psyched he’s coming, but it will definitely be different.
“What ho! What is this demonry!!” will be funny FOREVER.

I thought it was awesome and totally the Conan way to go out

I have always loved Conan and I thought that it was a great way for Conan to go out (even if only temporarily). I think he has always been one of the funniest guys on tv, I just hope he really does not lose any of that craziness that I find so funny.

So i loves Conan but ever since Jimmy Kimmel started to air thats what i’ve committed to watching. Although i am really sad that i wont be able to see a taping of Conan in NYC anymore. I hope he hates the fake lifestyle in LA and comes back to NYC

please tell me where i can continue viewing CONAN..ty

  • Hold for editing…

I watched Late Night fairly regularly from about the mid 90s, when I was old enough to stay up to 11:35 central time, up to the last show. Earliest sketch I remember involved Brian McCann playing the “Loser at the Beach, etc” guy, who would always end up getting mauled by a bear. Stupid but funny. I would like to see some of the Cone Zone shows I missed from the first three years. I always liked his show better than Leno’s.

    I don’t watch Conan O’Brien…ever.
I think he’s a poor choice to host the “Tonight Show.” I predict he won’t last long.
I’ll be writing about it on my blog The Survive Boomer Guide at http://boomersurvive-thriveguide.typepad.com.
I think O’Brien is an angry man who isn’t funny.
