Since when do you have to pay to watch network TV…This isn’t cable people..It’s Free! Unless in other countries where this might be cable..hmmmmmm that’s a thought. still shut up all you complainers! you should know better than to come to this site unprepared! There will be spoilers lol
You are wrong, Tucker. Renee has been one of the best things about Season 7 so far.
I like Renee Ken but what I’m interested to know is how are you enjoying the season so far.
I would have to disagree. I thought that her scene with the baby was definitely one of the most intense torture scenes on the show. I thought that Walker talking with Jack on the phone afterwards was great. It seems like Bauer just shrugs off all of the crazy things that he does, but it’s nice to see a more human response to those kinds of actions in Renee.
Ken, don’t hold your breath waiting for Dan Snierson to analyse anything. So far this season, all his ‘recaps’ have been are just that, recaps. I don’t need to have a play by play of a show I just watched. Be nice to actually have a critical opinion. He doesn’t have one and I don’t think he’s capable of it. Go read his latest, yourself, if you don’t believe me.
I love Renee. Renee’s like Jack was in the early years: Willing to do what has to be done, but still feeling it. Jack doesn’t quite have that anymore.
Ken Tucker, you couldn’t be more wrong. Renee is not the weakest link this season. She’s one of the strongest. She was a typical by-the-book agent. What do you expect her to do when asked to threaten an unarmed woman and a baby? Joyfully torture the heck out of the baby and the mother? I don’t think so. And Renee had to tell Larry about Vossler’s body. How else would Jack and she cover it up without Larry’s help?
1) It’s not a spoiler if it already aired
2) Renee had to blah blah….see other comments
3) She’s a mixture of hot and cute. I will call it Hute. Plus I dig freckles
To Baco Noir:
You ain’t lying. No matter how off base Ken Tucker’s opinion is with this season of 24, at least he’s giving critical thought. Dan Snierson, despite his richly detailed recaps, seriously lacks that element, and it really makes his recaps a bore to read. I wish Tucker would come back to 24, because hearing his insight was half the fun of talking about the episode, but since he’s doing this blog, I guess I can settle with brief replies.
Tucker, i think you jumped your personal shark. Renee had to call Larry to get help in hiding the bad agent’s body….body found=the bad guys knowing someone is on their tail/location. AND her confusion during the kidnapping scene was profound bc she MIGHT have needed to hurt the baby or the wife in order for the agent to talk. mind you, she didnt know how far she would have to go until he broke down. didnt she an hour or two ago hurt the agent in the hospital? umm, hello…tucker are you watching the same show?
I really like Renee’s character! It has something Well… a lot of things! I liked the way her character developed and I hope she’ll not be dead by the end of this season.
