Scarcrow of ramsey marsh is my all time number 1 movie…I wish I could find it on dvd.

Patrick Mcgoohan was an absolute genius! His acting ability,talent and vision was second to none. I remember watching ‘The Prisoner’ for the first time a few years ago and was just blown away by it all. But ‘Danger Man’ is for me, an absolute gem of a programme that makes James Bond look ordinary!
RIP Patrick!!

I watched Danger Man in Argentina in late fifties early sixties I think, and The Prisoner in the the 1990’s. McGoohan is a character of my childish, and I realised also that he was a talented man. I also liked very much his works in Ice Station Zebra and Scanners. Orson Welles praised him as an actor.

REST IN PEACE Patrick, i loved everything you did as an actor. my favorite of all time is the scarecrow of romny marsh. you wre also great in the columbo series.

Patrick was a tremendious writer. Not only did he write much of “The Prisoner” he also wrote a lot of the “Columbo” series. He had a hand in developing the stories he appeared in. But he also had a strong hand in writing or revising the scripts of many of the “Columbo” episodes of the last 15 years of the series, even though his name does not appear in the credits. He will probably never get credit for all of his work on the series because only the people involved directly with it know how much he contributed.

The news of Patrick’s death made me very sad. Only recently I have been watching episodes of his DANGERMAN series. The series was a great as the actor himself. To me Patrick McGoohan, Patrick Macnee and Sean Connery will epitomize the secret agents of the Sixties.

My favorite actor, my first and biggest crush is gone. I loved everything Patrick McGoohan did–such great eyes, and nobody looked better in a tux. My fav role though, was the Scarecrow—it scared be big time as a kid, and I loved every minute. RIP

Patrick McGoohan added a touch of class to whatever project he did:movies,tv and theater.We met him first on the Disney movie”The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh”It’s still a favorite.Thank you for so mant memories.
