I haven’t watched Scrubs in years, due to NBC screwing around with its timeslot so much. But I watched last night and it was as good as I remember it. Glynn Turman should really be remembered at Emmy time, as should Courtney Cox. She was hilarious! Best line: when JD explaining why he prefers appletinis to beer (“They make me feel fancy!”). I laughed over that line all day today.
I love this show. Got into it a couple years ago on syndication. I was stoked when I heard it was coming back, and already have the season-recording set up on the DVR. I hope the show keeps going, but it’s hard to imagine it without some of the key characters I’ve gotten used to. One comment, I don’t like the Ted character. I think it would be MUCH better if they added a Father Mulcahey-type chaplain. Everybody else, rocks!
While the season 8 premier seemed like just another episode of Scrubs (very good, but not amazing), the second episode will go down as one of my all-time favorites. JD, Turk, and Cox continue to make me laugh and the new interns were great! I can only hope that ABC renews the show for another season and opens up the network wallet so the main cast returns.
I am so happy Scubs left the No Basic Clue network! This show is the only orignal idea left on television. I’ve been an avid watcher from the beginning, and never have I seen such perfect cast chemistry from the get go. I hope you guys really consider staying on the air for a few more years, especially since ABC seems to be giving you the respect that that other network is too absent minded to realize.
I couldn’t be more excited that Scrubs is back…Thank you ABC! I’ve been watching since season one and can’t get enough of the hilarious characters and wonderful writing! Love this group of actors, they make the show hard to miss!! Keep up the great work and again, thank you ABC!

I’m so glad this show is back. I’ve always loved its strange combination of goofy and profound. It has always had some of the best guest shots in tv comedy. It even made me like Tara Reid again for a while. But I do hope that it doesn’t go on without Bill Lawrence and Zack Braff when they leave at the end of the season. It just wouldn’t be the same.
